Parking lot rules

  1. The parking lot is PRIVATE TERRITORY.
  1. These rules regulate the parking of vehicles and oblige all persons (operators and owners of vehicles) parking vehicles on the site to comply with the rules and procedures laid down. Vehicle operators and owners parking vehicles in the car park shall be deemed to be aware of these rules and to be bound by them. Vehicle operators and owners who do not comply with the rules accept that they may be penalised for non-compliance.
  1. Parking in the car park and/or in the designated area shall be charged at the daily rate published at the entrance to the car park. Payment for the parking services provided must be made before leaving the car park. The car park is available 24 hours a day.
  1. Entry to the car park is only possible after the security guard has registered the car number in the system and given permission.
  1. 1 hour of parking and registration is free of charge. More than 1 hour parking is charged according to the price list.
  1. The call is made via the light board and the walkie-talkie (channel 10). If you hear your numbers on the walkie-talkie or see them on the board, you can leave the car park.
  1. When leaving the car park, at the barrier, if you have been parked for more than one hour, pay for the time you have been parked, or present a receipt to the security guard of UAB “Durga” if you have paid in advance.
  1. Once you have paid the parking fee, a receipt is issued at the cash desk.
  1. Vehicle operators and owners are responsible for the safety of vehicles parked in the car park, the safety of their goods and the safety of people. The operator of the car park shall not be materially liable for the safety and/or security of any vehicle parked in the car park and/or for any damage caused to such vehicles, goods, drivers or other persons, including by third parties.
  1. If it is not possible to establish the fact that the parking services have been paid for, the parking rules are deemed to have been violated. By parking the vehicle, the owner/operator of the vehicle acknowledges that, in the event of such a breach of the parking rules, he/she agrees to pay for the services actually provided to him/her (the time of use of the car park).
  1. Only registered and roadworthy vehicles (do not leak oil, do not scratch the surface of the car park, etc.) may park in the car park. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the vehicle operators and owners directly assuming full responsibility and penalties from all public authorities in the Republic of Lithuania.
  1. It is forbidden to leave a vehicle parked on the site in such a way that it obstructs access to or exit from the parking area, blocks the access of special vehicles to waste containers, blocks other vehicles, or creates any other obstacle to access to or exit from the parking area.
  1. Littering, consumption of alcoholic beverages, making noise or disturbing other people, damaging, dismantling or otherwise altering any equipment, appliances and repairs, washing vehicles, etc., on the site is prohibited.
  1. It is forbidden to leave a vehicle in the car park that advertises goods or services in any form or manner without the prior written consent of the car park manager.
  1. Heavy vehicles, gas trucks, vehicles carrying chemical and/or explosive substances, such vehicles damaged in an accident may only be parked in a separate area designated by the car park manager, with the car park manager’s prior permission/approval.
  1. Vehicles intending to cross the state border are automatically registered and placed in the queue of freight vehicles waiting to cross the state border by the “Queue Management Information System” when entering the site
    • At the entrance to the car park, the vehicle is registered in the Queue Management Information System
    • Drivers of vehicles carrying perishable, dangerous goods, AEO carriers, are required to provide proof of this to the security guard;
    • Vehicle drivers shall be called to proceed to the border inspection posts at Medininkai/Shalčininkai by radio and via a light board located in the site area and on a monitor in the services building;
    • When the queue number lights up, the driver must pay for parking and other services within one hour and leave for Medininkai/Šalčininkai PKP. If the driver does not leave within the time limit, the car is automatically placed at the back of the queue;
    • If for any reason the driver is unable to leave when it is his/her turn, he/she must inform the security guard in advance;
    • Once the car has left the car park, it must drive to the Medininkai/Šalčininkai PKP within 2 hours, failing which the driver is deemed to have refused to cross the border and must re-register in the queue for the crossing in order to continue the journey across the state border.
  1. The entire site is monitored by CCTV cameras.
  1. Filming or photography on the company’s premises is only permitted with the permission of the company’s management.
  1. Trading without the permission of the company’s management is prohibited.
  1. In all cases, the operator or owner of the vehicle shall be liable for non-compliance with the above-mentioned requirements and shall assume full responsibility for non-compliance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
